John Blomfield

John Blomfield BVM&S MRCVS grew up in west Yorkshire on a livestock farm and moved to Oban in 2008 after working in several other rural and mixed practices including a stint where All creatures great and small (the original one) was filmed.

John has always been drawn to the challenge of mixed practice and the variety of often unpredictable challenges that it throws up.

Away from work, John enjoys walking the dog, a bit of crofting and tinkering with a Land-Rover of similar vintage to himself.
